Helping New Brunswickers Know the Law

Speaker's Bureau
Public Legal Education and Information Service of New BrunswickThe Canadian Bar Association

The Speakers’ Bureau offers the public, at no charge, access to a wide range of legal professionals, government personnel and other experts who are willing to speak on a variety of law-related topics.  If we have publications on the topic you are interested in, we can also make them available for your event.  Be sure to check out our publications.

Any community group, service organization, library or special interest group, as well as the media, can ask us to help them find a speaker on the law. If your group wishes to invite a speaker on a legal topic to address a monthly meeting, an annual general meeting, a special event or a workshop, please contact us to book your speaker.  We ask that you make your request at least three weeks in advance of your event or meeting, so that the speaker has time to prepare and to work around busy schedules. We are pleased to have forged a partnership with the Canadian Bar Association-NB Branch. They will work in collaboration with us to assist in finding legal speakers.

To request a speaker, contact PLEIS-NB by telephone (506-453-5369), letter (P.O. Box 6000, Fredericton, NB E3B 5H1), fax (506-462-5193) or e-mail (pleisnb@web.ca) and share the following information:
