FAQ

I have purchased a do-it-yourself will kit.  Is it valid in New Brunswick?

Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on the validity of the Will Kits sold in bookstores, online and elsewhere.  Each province and territory in Canada has its own laws regarding how property can be passed on after someone dies. There are many similarities, but there are differences too.  Do not assume that a kit that is sold in New Brunswick is valid in this province.  The following PLEIS-NB publications contain general information about New Brunswick’s laws.
